First Web Projects

This is our top level page with unordered lists to link to all of our lessons. Styles are internal

This file is for our very first lesson (before just before index.html) in our weekOne folder (in weeks folder). Images, divs, formatting basics, and styles that are inline.

Using W3schools HTML Layout example. Links to each lessons in the weekOne and back to the main page. Main content should be 5 favorite external links (absolute href's). Our first external style sheet will be used.

Using W3schools HTML Layout example. Link to set up css files and lesson three in our weekTwo folder. This content will consists of two pages using same external file. One with embedded video and map link. Second file (lesson04.html) you create from of lesson03 and includes picts and sites.

After finishing lesson03, make a copy of the file and use it as the template for the lesson 04. Remove the inside of the left and right side div boxes and put in images and links or information. The code blocks below are to be added (not used as a starter code). These are introductory javascripts tricks with the images and text on the screen

Using styles downloaded from twitter-bootstrap, we will make two pages starting with lesson 5 (lesson 4 is part of lesson 3 and week two project. These html files will link to a downloaded css file that has many features already built in. This content will consists of two pages using same external css file. The topic is open to your choice (favorite sports or team, a vacation spot, etc..). The first file will have embedded video and a map link. The second file (lesson06.html) that you create (lesson05) and includes picts and links.

Using styles downloaded from twitter-bootstrap, we will make two pages starting with lesson 5 (lesson 4 is part of lesson 3 and week two project). Here are some additions to your lesson 5 and 6 html pages. Open this link, and then VIEW SOURCE of the page to see (and borrow) the code pieces you want to add to your page. I expect some of the features to be a part of the lesson 5 and 6 pages.

Using styles downloaded from twitter-bootstrap, or bootswatch themes, we will make at least three pages starting to make a final website. Some examples of code are located here to add to your final project.
